The colour story was rich, starting with rose, purple, sea blue moving on to burgundy, chocolate, orange and green, ending with brown, midnight blue and black. BT spotted a nice half saree look and a broad kamarbandh for men. The designs had a splash of embroidery ranging from Marodi, Aari, zardozi, to chikan work to 17th century gota. Rich brocades, silks, georgettes, velvet and hand-woven silks came alive. Detailing gave an interesting touch to the collection with hand made fabric buttons, embroidered motifs and multi-coloured piping. Bling was present, with a lavish sprinkling of sequins on ornate velvet lehengas, shimmering dupattas, dhoti tunics, gorgeous sarees, swirling paneled kurtas and stately sherwanis which will appeal to buyers of festive wear.
