What a Stanley Cup Finals we had the privilege to experience in 2011! The Boston Bruins truly earned the right to call themselves Lord Stanley Cup Champions by edging out the Vancouver Canucks in 7 games. Every team won their home games throughout the first 6 games of the finals. The stage was set and it was the Canucks game to lose, but the Bruins weren't ready to hand over the trophy by any means.
The Bruins won game 7 on the road 4-0 become the Stanley Cup Champions for the first time in 38 years! The Bruins needed 7 games to win each series throughout the playoffs. There is no better feeling than this if you are a Bruins fan!
